Biography

I am a neuroscientist specialized in glioblastoma, neurodegenerative diseases and molecular mechanisms of brain ageing. My research focuses on modeling human disease, including rare diseases, Alzheimer’s disease and glioblastoma using Drosophila and mammalian systems, exploring signaling pathways, oxidative stress, and therapeutic targets. I have authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications and actively contribute to translational projects bridging genetics, metabolism, and neuroprotection. I also mentor graduate, master and PhD students and participate in international conferences on neurobiology and precision medicine.
