Biography
Piper A. Hutson, EdD is an arts and health specialist whose interdisciplinary work bridges neuroscience, sensory processing, and inclusive design. As Arts & Health Specialist for the Missouri Arts Council and adjunct professor at Lindenwood University, she advances neurodiversity-informed approaches to public health, cognitive accessibility, and arts engagement. Her research explores the neural impact of sensory environments, brain-computer interfaces, and neuroaesthetic interventions, with recent publications and talks addressing cognitive network integration, flow states in neurodivergent individuals, and the role of art in emotional regulation and brain plasticity.
